Sources of Traffic I used to drive traffic to my affiliate links

There are many powerful ways to drive traffic to your affiliate links and blogs, I’ve put together a few of the most effective and tried and tested methods for you. These methods are effective and have been applied and tested. There are 6 methods here those are :

  1. A blog/website/ SEO
  2. Quora
  3. Email marketing
  4. Pinterest
  5. Facebook Page or Paid Ad
  6. YouTube
  7. Podcast

Lets check out these methods in detail.

A Blog

Assume you all own a website. If not why you all looking to drive traffic? There is no point in driving traffic straight to the affiliate links without having a website for your own. Yes, you can create a landing page and drive traffic but why you want to lose an earning opportunity by sending those valuable traffic to a Landing page rather than to your blog.

if you don’t want to spend money on a website still you can create Blogger or Google sites for free here you can practice and create your own website after.

In a Blog, you can provide valuable content to your readers and link to your affiliate links. This is most effective because you are getting rewarded for the affiliate link while your readers are benefiting from both your content and the links.

A second method would be to show your affiliate links in the form of banners. All affiliate networks currently offer this facility for displaying your affiliate links on a banner that is appealing to your audience.

Quora

Quora is a conversation platform where internet users can discuss questions with other internet users.

This site will enable you to drive traffic to your blog or site where you display your affiliate links.

as per Similarweb Quora receiving more than 500 million monthly visits. See what potential this platform offers. You should not waste the opportunity that is available to you. 500 million visits in a month is a no joke use it wisely.

I encourage you to direct traffic to your website rather than posting your affiliate link at Quora since posting an affiliate link may result in you being banned.

Email Marketing

Having an email list is one of the best ways to keep customers coming back since it is a trusted group of people. When they trust you, they want your emails in their inbox.

An excellent way to get affiliate links in front of engaged audiences is to e-mail your list about products and tools you promote. By offering them special deals and exclusive content here, you can establish a more intimate connection.

You can use your Email in 4 ways to reach your potential customer. Let me break it down for you.

Welcome Email

As soon as your reader subscribes to your newsletter you can send them a welcome email that includes your affiliate links.

Since they are interested in the links and have made their subscription recently, there may be a high chance for the reader to click the links.

Email Signature

include an Email signature in your emails to show professionalism as well as to build trust with your readers.

Your email signature can include links to your affiliate links, your blog and services.

Newsletters

When a website visitor subscribes to your newsletter, you can then send regular, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly emails to your subscribers, providing them with current content or services. You can also add your own affiliate links in your newsletter, increasing even further traffic to your affiliate links.

Cold mailing

Cold Mailing is the well known tactic among Email marketers. Cold mailing can lead you to spamming and get blocked if you don’t do it correctly. As I am still learning this, I have a average knowledge in Cold Emailing am not going to comment on this.

But I would like you to know this method since this can come in handy if you apply it wisely

Pinterest

Pinterest is a powerful search engine for visual content, with billions of monthly users. Pins within Pinterest rank highly for several keywords on search engine result pages due to their high authority.

You can Create Pins and link them to your blog posts to utilize the active traffic Pinterest has or you can create pins and include your affiliate links in the pin itself if your affiliate vendor allows that kind of marketing.

But I suggest you drive that traffic to your blog fast than to your affiliate links which is much more effective and includes other benefits.

Increase your Pinterest traffic by growing your followers over time. Don’t ignore SEO here. Keep your board content relevant to your keywords. You can join groups boards to get more exposure.

Facebook

Did you know that Facebook has 22 billion monthly views? It is the fastest growing social media platform in the world, Why you should left this much of traffic without utilizing it, you can use it to drive traffic to your blog.

Create a Facebook Business Page for your blog and share images with catchy captions that get clicks

Ask questions, reply to comments, share a quote from your post.

I don’t suggest you do this without making a blog,

And another best part is you can drive targeted paid traffic as well. Facebook has many details as google, using these data you can laser target your audience and receive much more potential outcomes than other paid ad sources.

Pro tip for you: NEVER run Facebook ads to your affiliate link. This will get you banned because Facebook is all about user experience. They prefer user experience more than your money

What you can do is you can promote your blog using Facebook ads and include the affiliate links inside the article. This is the best way in terms of user experience as well.

Youtube

youtube is one of the best organic traffic sources and the second largest search engine only behind Google.

youtube helps you promote your products and services by making video reviews. You can then link to the products in your description.

To increase visibility, you can also include your affiliate links into the description of each one of your educational videos.

Podcast

Another uprising popular method is Podcasts.

If you are hosting your own podcast and do not wish to have inauthentic ads on it, suggest products and tools you already use.

Building a story around a product is a great way to boost affiliate promotion too. There’s something more honest about slipping in resources you already use than pushing products you’ve never even used.

Final thoughts

Here are a few ways I drive visitors to my affiliate links other than Youtube since I have yet to discover the full potential of YouTube and time constraints have made me back away from making videos.

Nevertheless, you can use this method to drive traffic to your affiliate links. I recommend you start with the free methods and move to paid methods.
